Founded in 1834, the University of the Ozarks is a four year, comprehensive, private university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church.
 
Mission
The University of the Ozarks aims to provide a uniquely supportive, academically sophisticated and challenging environment on a beautiful campus adjacent to the Ozark Mountains. Its first priority is the education of students who come to us from diverse religious, cultural, educational, and economic backgrounds.

Clarksville, Arkansas (100 miles west of Little Rock).

Athletics

2005-2006: $19,264 comprehensive ($13,740 tuition).  In 2005, 94% of incoming first-year students received some financial aid.  Average Award Package is $12,555.
