As a Christian liberal arts university, Oklahoma Baptist University’s mission is to transform lives by equipping students to pursue academic excellence, integrate faith with all areas of knowledge, engage a diverse world, and live worthy of the high calling of God in Christ. Toward that goal, the university offers ten bachelor’s degrees in 84 areas of study. Driven by Christian values, OBU intends to provide the knowledge, skills, and preparation to prepare students for whichever career path they are called to, while maintaining their dedication to truly make a difference. OBU also embraces a diverse environment for their students, with 1,777 students coming to OBU from 39 states and 20 other countries in the fall of 2010.
