Fast Facts
For over 140 years, Holy Names University has been educating students from throughout the California Bay Area and the world. As one of the most ethnically diverse college campuses in the country, HNU believes in the value of a varied student body, faculty and staff who come together to share ideas, challenge, and support each other. With over 40% of our student body the first in their family to go to college, the environment is one of growth and discovery through academics, leadership, and pursuit of social justice through developing an understanding of a world greater than ourselves. Four years at HNU isn’t just about the time spent in the classroom with world class faculty. It’s about shared ideas, development of the whole person and understanding your place in the global community.
