Fast Facts
The Evergreen State College is particularly committed to issues of social justice; it houses several public service centers, two of which serve local Native American communities, and the college offers extensive counseling and support to veterans who enroll in the school. Evergreen approaches learning in a dynamic, unique way. Students enroll in interdisciplinary, theme-based ‘programs,’ rather than in individual courses. Also, they receive narrative evaluations from their professors, rather than letter grades.
