Whitworth University is a private, residential, liberal-arts institution affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. Founded in 1890, Whitworth enrolls 2,500 students in 53 undergraduate and degree programs. Seeking to provide its diverse student body with “an education of mind and heart,” Whitworth stresses open and rigorous intellectual inquiry.
