Soka University of America provides students with an international and personalized college experience. Founded as part of the Soka schools of the Soka Gakkai International, an educational society that is among the world’s largest lay Buddhist organizations, Soka which means “to create value,” has established a tradition of humanistic scholarship and growth. The University offers study abroad for all students with expenses built into the tuition, and the campus serves international and U.S. students alike. A recently implemented program will waive tuition for admitted B.A. students whose family’s annual income is $60,000 or less.
