Mission
 The Drew University College of Liberal Arts affirms a commitment to its founding vision: to offer its students a liberal arts education of the highest quality. Through a rigorous course of study, the College challenges students to explore the arts, natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and interdisciplinary fields in depth and to develop their capacities for critical thought, problem solving, effective communication, creativity, self-discipline, and empathy. As the College prepares students for academic and professional achievement, it provides them with essential skills for living and continuing to learn and to grow in an increasingly diverse and complex world.

1,613 students (34% male, 66% female). The majority of the students come from the Northeast US. 16% minority; (1% American Indian; 6% Asian; 3% African American; 83% Caucasian; 6% Latino), 1% international.

84% first-year student retention rate and 73% average graduation rate.

148 full-time undergraduate professors. 12:1 student-faculty ratio. Average class size of 25.

Athletics
NCAA Division III, Freedom Conference and Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Conference, 18 varsity sports (8 men’s; baseball, basketball, cross-country, fencing, lacrosse, soccer, swimming and tennis; 10 women’s; basketball, cross-country, equestrian, fencing, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming and tennis). 5 club sports and 13 intramural sports.

Cost and Aid
2006-2007 $45,979 comprehensive ($33,450 tuition). In 2006, 99% of incoming first-year students with demonstrated financial need received some financial aid. Average Award Package is $23,186.
