Fast Facts
Roosevelt students benefit from central urban and suburban locations, small, interactive classes, and longstanding commitment to diversity and social justice. Campuses in downtown Chicago and Schaumburg, Ill. put students in the heart of two vibrant commercial and cultural districts, which are an integral part of the curriculum and of co-curricular activities. Founded in 1945, Roosevelt was one of the first institutions of higher learning to admit all academically qualified students, regardless of racial, ethnic or religious background, social or economic class, gender or age. Continuing that tradition, Roosevelt is the second most diverse private college/university in the state of Illinois today. Roosevelt University is a national leader in educating socially conscious citizens for active and dedicated lives as leaders in their professions and their communities.
