The University of the Pacific is a mid-size, private, comprehensive university. The university is devoted to small class sizes and personalized attention from professors that emphasize student-centered learning and individual success. Pacific integrates liberal arts and professional education to prepare its students for career achievement after graduation. The university’s diverse student body is supported by Pacific’s many student resources, including the United Cultural Council, the Multicultural Greek Council and the PRIDE Resource Center. The United Cultural Council oversees all cultural organizations on campus, promotes cultural diversity and builds leadership skills. Pacific also offers leadership opportunities for minority students through Multicultural Leadership Retreats, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, the Celebrate Diversity Calendar and other events.
