Fast Facts
Located in the heart of Missouri, Westminster College is a distinctive, liberal arts and sciences college with a global community. With an 11 percent international student population, Westminster’s students benefit from a great range of diversity on campus. Westminster integrates academics with experience by providing students with dynamic, hands-on, real-world experiences and seeks to be students’ “gateway to the world.” With an enrollment of just 1,000 students, the college community is intimate enough for each student to have an individualized learning experience and for faculty and staff to know their students well. Community service is a way of life at Westminster. Recently, the college’s international organizations have focused their efforts on promoting the use of sustainable products from other countries.

Founded in 1851, Westminster College is a private, liberal arts institution, affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. Westminster students begin their college years living in “The Quad” and learning in the Freshman Seminar. From this unique starting point, students build great relationships early, and learn vital intellectual and interpersonal skills that will not only guide them through their college years, but will also provide them with a strong foundation for a successful life. Having a strong background in liberal arts and sciences means that students have an array of options to experience and explore, preparing them for anything that life throws in their way.

It shall be the mission of Westminster College to educate and inspire all its students through a distinctive liberal arts curriculum and a dynamic developmental experience; to challenge them to be critically aware, life-long learners and leaders of character, committed to the values of integrity, fairness, respect and responsibility; and to prepare them to lead lives of success, significance and service.

Westminster College is located in Fulton, Missouri (mid-way between St. Louis and Kansas City).
