California State University, Chico (“Chico State”), founded in 1887, is a residential campus located in Northern California. With Little Chico Creek winding through the center of campus, CSU, Chico is known for its beauty. CSU, Chico offers more than 100 undergraduate majors and options, and maintains one of the highest graduation rates in the 23 campus CSU system. Chico is committed to its diversity, students who are the first in their family to attend college and the success of its students. CSU, Chico was recognized as a top 100 school by Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education for the number of Hispanic students who graduate.
