Fast Facts

Chapman University was the first private college or university in California to enroll students of all races and socio-economic backgrounds in the early part of the 20th century, a tradition to which the University firmly subscribes today. In addition to traditional need-based financial aid, merit, and talent-based scholarship programs, Chapman has historically offered funding for students who would be the first from their family to attend college in an effort to continue its legacy of enrolling a diverse student population.
